After I dropped off my car on the 22nd @ 08:30 (by appointment for FSD computer) I got a text from Tesla stating
Except the app is blanked out stating "in service" and doesn't tell me anything or let me do anything.
It's now going into day 3 for what should have only been a few hours. I...
I just discovered this yesterday, not sure if i'm super late to the party or if its new.
If you put your finger on the car visualization and slide it around it rotates the view. You can spin it to look at cars rendered behind you, from above, further away. I'd include pics, but I'm lazy and...
I've noticed something over the last 6 months or so. We are all here because we have an interest in Teslas (specifically model 3s in this subforum).
A year ago people would complain about production delays, issues with their car during delivery, people buying used Model S to 'jump the line' of...
I just updated to 2019.8.1 and my range on my app went from 276 to 289 after the update.
I'm not near my car but I saw others post the release notes on another forum and it didn't mention the increase in range (and I'm assuming performance). I think this is that update though!
My glove box keeps falling open while driving. The first time I thought i had accidentally hit the button, second time I thought I hadn't closed it properly....now it won't stay closed more than a minute while driving. It appears the latches aren't engaging properly
Anyone else have this issue...
Hey, I've had my model 3 about 5 weeks now (picked up 4/26). I can't get it to detect the signal from my condo gate opener.
Brand new batteries in fob
Tried holding the button for 30sec & 2sec intervals
Close & up to 5 ft away
Frunk open & closed
Every spot on the bumper from headlight to...
I have a Model 3 reservation but would prefer a Model S or X.
Only requirement is AP2 hardware or higher. Preferably already has EAP, FSD would be even better. Looking to spend around $60k for an April/May sale (Currently away on business)
Aug 1: Ordered Model 3
Aug 31: Estimated 2-4weeks from delivery
Sep 23: New payment option appeared on MyTesla, Delivery Estimator changed form Oct-Dec to "We'll reach out"
Sep 25: Received VIN, watched it in production
Oct 13: Pre-delivery
Oct 16: Delivered
So I noticed on the investor thread someone started to use CarFax to verify and check the vins. I discovered a free service that does similar (firstly, shows whether its a real vin or not), last reported odometer reading, Stolen, etc...
Using this I think I've narrowed down the Check Digit...
I know we've seen some small increases in performance for the Performance models, but Tesla just sent out an email that both the Model S and X base models got their 0-60 times dropped by a full second via a S/W upgrade. That's a huge difference! Right now I'm sure it'll be a nice differentiator...
So, since I have some spare time I spent a few minutes plugging model S battery/motor numbers vs their 0-60ph times. Then taking that data and throwing it at the info we have on the Model 3. Obviously it is very unreliable being based on rumors, estimates, and guesses. But none the less, I was...
