Hi, sorry for the late reply, I didnt get a notification. Not sure what you mean. These are my tires for my 21" staggered arachnid wheels, identical size to the OEM tires that came with these rims. 20" Winter Wheel / Tire set for 2019 Model S Chicago Area

I don't have a 20" set, I didn't know these existed, but I do have a set of OEM 19" Slipstreams wheels with All Season tires, that came with my Tesla S. I live in Chicago, and these wheels have proven perfect through the coldest Chicago winter weather for me. I am no longer using these, as I...

Hi, I do have one I was considering to sell. It is the gray 85D Tesla S version. I recall I also got an extra set of wheel covers for it, to swap from black to silver, to match the model S i have. I am based in Chicago though, so it needs to be shipped, unless you will be in the area sometime....

Tesla S OEM original 19" slipstream wheels + tires for sale

Update: Set has been sold as of April 20 2024. Selling my four original 19" OEM slipstream wheels that came with my Tesla S, with GoodYear all season tires. Thanks to the high curbs in Chicago, two rims have some minor scuff marks, the other two are pristine. I am selling these as Michelin...

Any advice for a potential Tesla Model S buyer?

Huh? I cant believe anyway would feel that way. My experience is that nothing comes close to it, let alone a Camry ;) I enjoy my Tesla every time.

Any advice for a potential Tesla Model S buyer?

Nothing further. I use the term "some" perks, as these are not nearly as attractive as in Tesla's earlier referral programs.

Any advice for a potential Tesla Model S buyer?

Great to hear you are looking to buy a Tesla! I would take the service complaints with a grain of salt. There isnt a car brand that doesnt have similar complaints. Regarding the Tesla car itself: Tesla doesnt have anything that comes even close to the experience. I have always had good service...

Illinois Infrastructure Plan Would Raise EV Registration Fees to $1,000/yr

Used Model S vs waiting for a Model 3?

You'd have more value for money with a new 3, with the latest technology, which you wont have with an used Model S from 2014. Plus you are eligible for almost 4k in tax credit when you buy new. No comparison with Bolt BTW. Doesn't even come close;)
  16. msvoyager

Used Model S vs waiting for a Model 3?

Why wait for a model 3? You can order now and have it very quickly. I would really do that vs a used model S.

Ordering 75D 2018 with Discount by Tesla ...

No issues at all with car. Zero.I have a sun roof as well, which is really nice. The only "issues" are more with the company, not the car 1: Tesla did not honor the written notice in my account that another car purchased by me in the future would have free unlimited super supercharging. That...

Ordering 75D 2018 with Discount by Tesla ...

I think it is a very good deal! I have a 75D myself since 2016, I never missed a large battery. BTW, great to see another upcoming Tesla owner in Chicago. Will you take delivery downtown (Grand)? Since you mentioned you are new, make sure to use a referral code to get 1000 miles charging for free.

    Used 2015 85D mess

True. You should look at how often you will drive with the whole family and how often just by yourself. If 80% is by yourself, then the fun of having a brand new state of the art car might be worth it over a roomier model S

    Used 2015 85D mess

You may like the Model 3 better due to the larger amount of miles, and the shorter time it takes to charge it. If you dont mind me asking, how much was the used 85D vs the costs for a new model3 ? And BTW, it comes with the newest AP / FSD hardware vs a 2015 model. You may actually be happy you...

    AP1 Unlock Unavailable in MyTesla?

Anyone able to get AP1 purchased for $2000 as communicated in March? What happened to free supercharging for life?

Hi Msullivan, Just like you, I had the same unpleasant discovery that Tesla silently removed this statement from my account. Breaking customer promises

Yes, that is so true. I just had not expected Tesla to thank me like that for being a loyal customer and helping generate $500.000 in sales. Indeed, if I do the math, supercharging is meaningless for me. What bothers me how Tesla chooses to silently remove the text in My Account without any...

    Breaking customer promises

In a Tesla account that currently states " You have free unlimited supercharging, and if you sell you car that will transfer to the new owner" Do you see the above as no obligation from Tesla to honor that either then, and is OK to be withdrawn whenever Tesla chooses?

Wow, that is a bit harsh... I am just pointing out that if a customer is promised something, it is reasonable to expect that promise is kept. Breaking customer promises

That is not up to me to decide. If Tesla wants to limit it to condition xyz, Tesla should make that clear in their text. Breaking customer promises

To clarify, as I tried before: For me this isn't about free stuff. At all. It is about what it meant to me when I bought my original Tesla. It was special for me. Breaking customer promises

I think its reasonable that if am told that I get unlimited supercharging when I am buying the car, AND I am told it will carry over if I buy a new car, it will actually happen. That is not even close nor in the same league, compared to a note in my account that states if I ever buy ANY new car the free supercharging carries over -which was there for like 2 years- Would you expect that a customer after 6 months being the owner of a new car says: "great, let me use that...

Thanks Varmint. That's exactly my point. Also, it wasn't an "offer" or an "add" or a "promotion" or... No. It was a fact. Stated in writing in my account the moment I got my car. If you would be reasoning that "no offer is forever" I could also count on it that after say 3 years, Tesla just...

    Breaking customer promises

Again, for me its the principle: I bought a Tesla, and as part of that agreement I got the assurance -in writing no less- that I could buy ANY new car in the future, and free supercharging would be carried over to the new car. I cannot stand a company that simply breaks a made promise just...
