    Ingenext Boost Modules [aftermarket]

I just had my hardware upgraded from 2.5 to 3. I removed the module before I had the upgrade done. I'm waiting to hear back from Ingenext, same question. I'm tempted to plug it in and see if it works. The plug, unplug process is a real pita though

    FSD now $8,000. Who's buying?

August 2018 Model 3. I don’t think they replaced the side cameras but they had noticeably less yellow tint after the hardware upgrade. No idea why. The only real downside to the upgrade is a reset of WiFi blutooth and home link settings, reset of all “trip odometers”, and the backup camera seems...

    FSD now $8,000. Who's buying?

If you subscribe to FSD, yeah you need to pay the $1000. That may be what they are referring too. I just did the EAP to FSD upgrade and the invoice for the 2.5 to 3.0 upgrade was $0 Full Self-Driving updates almost instantly in the car upon purchase and you make a service appointment to update...

    FSD now $8,000. Who's buying?

I just had my computer upgraded to HW3 today. Currently waiting for the latest update to finish installing to try FSD! Took the service center about 4 hours to return the car and it seemed like they were working on it the whole time doing updates. I lost my saved WiFi-Blutooth and homelink...

    FSD now $8,000. Who's buying?

Well this is interesting. They cancelled my service appointment to upgrade my car from 2.5 to 3.0 stating. Your car will receive the functionality via software update. I don't know if that is by error or did they figure out how to get FSD to work with 2.5 hardware?

    FSD now $8,000. Who's buying?

The website expressly states that if you purchase Full Self Driving Capability, you are eligible for a free upgrade to the 3.0 computer. My install is tomorrow, they haven't sent an "estimate" yet, but I expect it to be $0. Whether or not that has changed now that the upgrade is $2k total, I...

hard to argue it causes a warranty issue when that exact part is designed and sold to do what the ghost module does.

Update on replacing OEM 12v lead-acid battery with lithium?

Been running EVs for over a decade now. The early Tesla drivetrain I had (Rav4) gave no warning until the car wouldn't start and if if went completely dead you risked bricking the car. My Model 3 has gone through 2 oem batteries. Both failing at 24 month on the number. Neither time did I have...

    Ingenext Boost Modules [aftermarket]

No issues. I have mine set to accept updates and have my software preference in the car to standard. If there is an issue with an update, it unlikely someone else won’t experience the issue before myself. Ingenext just tests with their own cars so if an update isn’t listed, it doesn’t mean it...

    Ohmmu battery reset procedure

I had to do the reset last night. I have an Ingenext module installed and it makes the process pretty simple. 1. Disable Charge and Discharge Sliders in the OHMMU app. 2. Hit the Hard Reboot slider in Ingenext app. 3. Car shuts down and goes completely dark. Sit there for a couple seconds...

    Cant access service mode

I was able to save my 12v by disconnecting the terminals doing a hard boot. Letting it sit off for a couple of seconds, then reconnecting the 12v terminals. After the Hard Reboot, the battery 12v battery started charging and I can now enter service mode again. Not a very good solution. In 5...

    Model Y flooded. (Maybe)

I came back to my car yesterday from a bike ride to my car in standing water the same height as OP. I estimate it was like that for 30-45 minutes. Somebody ran into a fire hydrant and flooded the parking lot. I don't have any immediate errors but I am worried about long term corrosion. How big...

I am at this charger right now. It was showing a closure so i was aiming for tejon pass at 1% just in case. It is working. Getting max charge curve. There is construction going on for the shell gas station and 2 porta potties for the workers. That’s it. The chargers appear to be working...

How much are you willing to pay for FSD V12?

When FSD is released my car will have well over 100k miles on it. If they had a flash sale, selling the software for what it was originally available for back in 2018, I'd probably get it. But that isn't happening so I'll just keep with what I have. If improvements become available for EAP on...

thoughts on Pirelli P Zero All Season Plus Elect for Model 3?

when my mx4’s were worn out I replaced them with a set of P Zero all seasons. I noticed road noise right away but I eventually got used to it. There will be NO HW4 upgrade for HW3 owners

They call it an appreciating asset but when you go to trade in or sell your FSD equipped car you get little to know value. My 18 EAP model 3 with 75k miles got quoted by Tesla only 3k less than a family members FSD equipped 19 car with 40k miles. Everything else is the same. Wrap your head...

Ingenext ghost for long range dual motor

Other than tires lasting about 5k miles less per set (which could just be a tire brand difference) and the know that there is a third party wifi module and can tap into to adjust things, if I wanted to, its exactly like having just the boost but the boost is boosted. Tesla promoting self-driving video was staged

No more Uber Credits or loaners after warranty expiration

Their new policies are pretty stupid. Just 3 months ago when I had a windshield replaced, they gave me uber credits. That was an out of warranty repair, so this no credits thing is real new. Sudden decrease in displayed range M3P

Really wouldn't worry much about what the car says for range. If you are noticing loss of range in actual driving, then look at it closer. EAP Return to US

I have had EAP for 4 years now. When I inquired about upgrading to FSD they said the hardware was included in the price. If I just wanted HW3 hardware, it is a $1000 upgrade. If they port the FSD freeway level stuff to EAP, but require HW3, I'll pay for that upgrade. 70k miles and 4 years...

Car damaged at service center. Help!

    Ingenext Bonus Module

Tesla hasn't come out with a defense for these modules in quite some time. It is pretty apparent their defense to this was putting different hardware in newer cars.
