I would add that they add significant noise and harshness to the ride. It’s tough balancing the appearance you seek and the ride you really want. I had 21 inch arachnids on my my last and switch them back to the 19s. It is night and day.

well, they don't seem to build any extra, that is for sure. Every one is custom and they don't discount, unless there are miles on it. If they can direct almost all their resources to the 3 and the Y for now, then the S will continue to sell in small volumes, with little new engineering costs...

IMHO the system is very nuanced and would require many sessions to understand its benefits and limitations. That isn't possible on a single test-drive.
