Full Self Driving frequently shows as "unavailable"

So in the last weeks i've noticed that on many drives the grey wheel symbol which represents when you can engage autopilot is often missing or will flash available for a second then disappear again. This seems to happen more at the beginning of a drive and/or on surface streets vs larger...

Long wait times for Service (Tesla + other)

So now that Tesla has gotten much larger and more popular, it seems like service experiences are starting to get worse and I've heard that people are having to wait more and more. Wanted to get some input from others in the community and see if you've experienced a "slow" service experience...

Service Center won't/can't fix car [suspension - aftermarket suspension installed]

So I noticed my front right lateral link was loose, which is a relatively common issue on Model 3 (tow truck driver even said "i had the same yesterday") and there was even a recall for it previously, and reached out to Tesla to get some help. I initially asked if they could send someone to...

AC Blowing super cold on Auto

So for the last 3 days, my car has been acting very strange and has never done this before over the last 2.5 years. I keep the HVAC set to 70F and auto pretty much all the time, but for the last few mornings the car seems to BLAST the AC on super cold and fan speed 7 for the first 5-10 minutes...

    Scan My Tesla (OBDII) Install

So i just got an OBDII connector cable from e mobility driving solutions in Germany and put together a quick video on how to install it for use with Scan My Tesla. Was pretty easy and the data is really cool, trying to find a way to overlay some of this on track videos somewhat painlessly...

Hey guys - Just an heads up that VMR wheels is doing 25% almost everything they sell for Black Friday. Overpaid for FSD, No Early Access - Class Action Time?

So like many people, i paid the $3K for FSD when purchasing my car back in fall of 2018. I've been slowly waiting for entry to the Early Access Program as Elon promised (instead of a refund), but it seems that isn't happening. Apparently there are some rumors that Early Access has been totally...

    Brake Pads for P3D

Unplugged just added these new pads to their website! They are the first (to my knowledge) aftermarket brake pads for P3D. I'm running them myself as a beta tester and they've been great for me, the initial bite is much more firm and it gives much more confidence. They also last longer on the...

Cracked Main Screen = Bad Time

Soo on my way home yesterday i was going to place my phone in the charging cradle and accidentally tapped the bottom edge of the car dash screen with the top of my phone. I didn't think much of it at the moment, but then 15 minutes later my touchscreen started to freak out and was totally...

    Track Mode Comparison @ Buttonwillow

I just got back from Buttonwillow after tracking with Track Mode for the first time, but after having been to Buttonwillow about a month ago with Tesla Corsa. When i was their in October my fastest times were around 2:18, but i was having tons of power limitations which meant fewer chances at a...

    Mystery Clunk under Hard Braking

Alright i need some expert opinions...took the car autocrossing and heard a weird clunk under heavy braking right as i started to turn the wheel. I definitely took this turn a bit hot :D Based on the fact that i'm running 265 tires and definitely have minimal clearance, i'm leaning towards...

    P3D 0-60 now 3.3s instead of 3.5s

So check out the Tesla Model 3 page, it says P3D does 0-60 in 3.3 seconds instead of 3.5! Did the car change or is this just software? I hope its the latter because i already have my car :D

    P3D with V9 - more efficient?

Am i crazy or is the P3D more efficient with V9 software? I just got an effiency of 260 wh/mile on a drive where i would previously get around 300. I'm wondering if they maybe changed something in how the motors torque sleep while cruising.

    P3D+ Acceleration

So I just noticed that my car's acceleration seems MUCH more pronounced when i go from 3-5MPH to 60MPH compared to going from 0-60. Does anyone elses P3D do this? It honestly feels sluggish getting started from 0 and i'm not really sure why... PS - The road is was on wasn't wet/dirty, so i...

    Cleaning Products for Premium Materials

So i've noticed that my steering wheel is a bit "sticky" (not really, just makes my hands feel slightly greasy periodically) and i want to clean it without damaging the material itself. I've used leather cleaners before (on leather, i know this is different) and they seem to either leave a...

Model 3 Already Has WiFi Support

Today i found out that the Model 3 already supports WiFi but you need to be at a service center for it to happen :) I mention this not as a joke (well, sorta) but because it implies that Tesla has already done much of the software work for enabling WiFi on the Model 3 and hopefully we will get...

Does anyone else have a clunking type sound when they turn on the air/AC in the vehicle? Shifting into Neutral while Driving

So i've done this a few times by accident when i'm trying to disengage Autopilot, but basically i will notice i'm either not getting the regen i expect (not slowing down) or the car won't accelerate when i press on the accelerator (and i get an alert "Hey put me in Drive!") because i have...
