Cleaning Products for Premium Materials

So i've noticed that my steering wheel is a bit "sticky" (not really, just makes my hands feel slightly greasy periodically) and i want to clean it without damaging the material itself. I've used leather cleaners before (on leather, i know this is different) and they seem to either leave a residue or leave the material feeling super slippery.

Anyone have a good method for cleaning the seats/steering wheel in the Model 3 that they've tested out? Any products you have used and recommend?

I won't ask about cleaning the Alcantara as i imagine that may hit some sore spots

I’ve only used water. I think the service center recommends mild soap and water. I’d be happy to hear other recommendations!

Optimum no rinse.

Try it an you wont use anything else.

Not sure about the leather / leather equiv, but I did ask the service center what they used to get a spot out of the visor (non-ultrasuede) after spotting it (see what I did there?) at delivery. "Tuff Stuff" was the answer.

I have Optimum No Rinse and a selection of Griot's Garage products and both of them work well.

I actually do use that for my exterior, but i was more interested in how to clean the fake leather/premium material on the interior of the car....unless you're saying you use it for that too?

IIRC, Tesla recommends/has recommended using a damp microfiber towel for the synthetic leather.

YMMV of course.
