It’s just illogical. They sell the fully integrated solution for $300 installed at your home by a Tesla mobile technician. This is not a money making accessory. Sorry, but some idiot made this decision to lower the cost of delivering a new car. Crazy.

The reason I ask is I ordered an identical car immediately after launch and still haven’t heard sh*t. Not sure what their methodology on delivery is?

So by passive entry, we’re saying that if my wife has the key in her purse, the doors will not unlock by pulling the door handle. If that’s the case, the fob is useless. Just crazy for a pure technology company.

Tesla Tech Support Rep confirmed that there is no hard reboot.

Point I was making is this is a change. Never had a phone key feature in the app when I originally set my phones up. The Tesla factory support rep had never seen this either. I found it when he and I were troubled shooting.

Ok, figured it out. The app now has a feature called Phone Key. When you pair a new phone to the car, you must click phone key, place your key card on the console, and wait for it to sync. In a couple of minutes, voila the phone was connected and working.

Just did a so called reboot and unpaired and repaired my wife’s phone. It just won’t see it at all. No problem with mine. Exact same iPhone X with same version of software. Weird.

Ok, that's starting to make sense, kinda. What I'm looking for is something that adjust the seat and steering wheel when I unlock the car after my wife has driven it. She's 5'2 and I'm 6'4 so its impossible for me to get in with the seats set to her position. I guess that technology's not available.
