I think your material of $400 and actual labor (installer cost) of $250 might be close. I think what you are not factoring in is the Tint Company's overhead costs (rent, utilities, marketing ,etc), then add the "owners cut", then actual profit for the company.

Thanks. I actually called the 3 installers that were listed on the xpel website as certified installers and their prices are as I listed. I think the large price difference is because of the huge cost of living differences between regions. The labor costs here in CA are crazy.

You can’t get xpel full PPF wrap for $2k in the SF Bay Area. I’ve been quoted, for Xpel / stek , front only $2k and full car between $4k - $8k. It’s crazy here in SF. You might be able to get it cheaper for cheaper material.
