12v Battery Needs Service - Model 3

I just got this message today. I know it's not rare and I plan on making a service visit. The only reason I bring it up is because I turned on the "No AC" cabin overheat protection a few days ago as an experiment and forgot to turn it off. Today was a hot/sunny day so no doubt the fan was running in a futile attempt to keep the temp down. I wonder if there is correlation?

I'm going to give it a few days with the overheat protection turned off before I make my service appointment.

Has anyone else had this issue correlated with overheat protection?

Cabin overheat protection should have absolutely no impact on this. The car knows how much juice that drains and will charge the battery to compensate.

Do you have a dashcam or anything else wired directly to the 12V battery? If so, that causes that error you see. FYI Tesla won't warranty your battery if you attach stuff to the 12V directly...
