15.3kw system Completed yesterday - scratched panels caused by rough handling

The crew came on 7am Wednesday and finished around 5pm Sat for system size of 15.3kw.

For the most part I'm happy with the installation process, however toward the end of Friday I felt like they were no longer being careful handling the panels like when the first started anymore.

I think the system worked fine today, generated 66.3kw for a partial cloudy day. I flew my mavic and found lot of panels scratches all over. Just wonder if anyone experienced the same issue with me

I attached some sample pictures.

Wow, those panels look thrashed. I would definitely want them replaced.

That was a Tesla install? I don't see the bottom skirt and they don't look like the panels I got.
Yeah system installed by Houston Tesla crew. Team 6 and 3 of them are on their first day :(

Also the battery installer slammed the ****ing powerwall to the wall when moving from his truck to my garage. He said someone will come over and paint it for me ...

I don't want to bash your install, but I would be pretty upset with the whole thing. 1st, why didn't they have the arrays aligned to your roof edges? There is nothing which requires panels to be portrait or landscape. Especially on that upper section, instead of those 6 weirdly aligned panels if they were aligned to the ridge they would look so much better.

The conduit run on that section just has me scratching my head. Add the scratches and the lack of respect for your property, and I would be fuming.

Not sure what the escalation process is for Tesla, but I would be demanding to have the job walked with a field supervisor or whatever the Tesla equivalent is to see how Tesla is going to fix it.

Thanks for sharing. I have my install with the Houston team next month (originally scheduled for Thursday, but with Marco/Laura went ahead and rescheduled it). I'll keep an eye on mine, and please keep us updated on the process.

Spoke to the Houston area manager and he agreed to have the crew come out and replace all of them next week. Out of 43, I think at least 20 need to be replaced. Panels were pulled and slammed all over the ladder. Over time the scrapes will develop into crack and lead to Water condensation, hence void warranty.
