Hmmm, didn't see this post until now. I'll offer a ride to the event in my Roadster in exchange for being someone's spare +1. I do live in Orange County, about an hour south of LA, so I could theoretically also offer a place to stay, though it's a bit far from the event location and you might have already made arrangements in LA proper. Last but not least, and this is something I haven't revealed here before, you'd also be giving a +1 to a former and fairly early employee of the company so maybe I'll be able to provide some worthwhile conversation in addition to the ride ;-) Though let me know sooner rather than later since I might be taking a nap mid-day before the event starts, since I'm planning to stand in line at a store overnight with a friend.
