Given the high safety ratings Tesla has achieved, and that Volvo wants to be the brand of safety, I smell all kinds of agenda in this.
Tesla didn’t implement automatic emergency braking until 2017. That’s one of the reasons we bought new (last year) instead of CPO.
Then it was designed stupidly.Tesla Model S AEB is not designed to prevent collisions. So this is normal behaviour.

Not necessarily. AEB is a trade off between false positive and sensitivity. We cannot determine the system’s capability unless false positives are also measured.Then it was designed stupidly.
