There were many more shares borrowed in pre-market trading today than yesterday : 181k vs.103k. Interest rate steady at 2%. There are still 207k shares available for shorting at 9:25am.

Shorts must have covered some. It was around 200k an hour or so ago. Maybe they took advantage of the dip.

If it happens expect to pay north of 70K at least near term.

Looks like my P100D is safe for the time being. There honestly is no need for more capacity anyway with existing superchargers. I drove a 85D across the country last summer (Phoenix to Orlando and back) with no problem at all. 85KWh is the sweet spot. Anything less and I'm biting my nails between superchargers and anything more lets me play with the car a bit A larger pak would make sense for a truck however.

Now back to SP, thinking we lose about half the recent gains through Thursday and will probably bounce around between 254 and 260 into ER. My best guess based mainly on ER approaching. Overall still long.

Ford sells something like 800,000 F-series a year, going to be surreal when you start hearing construction guys talk about their Tesla trucks the way they talk about Fords right now. Can just imagine the "market reaction" after Tesla's first year of selling pickups.

2016: 2.72m sole voting power shares, 7.87m shares sole dispositive power
