100D, Obsidian Black Metallic, 6 seat configuration, full autopilot/self-driving, premium package, and premium interior upgrade, and carbon fiber upgrade
VIN 785XX
Ordered: 11/10/2017
Order Confirmation Email: 11/13/2017
Original Delivery Date: Late December - Early January
Updated Delivery Date: Mid - Late December
Vehicle listed as in production on the Tesla portal week of 11/19/2017 (received no email)
Call from DS on 12/9/2017 saying the vehicle was in paint, expected to ship on 12/15 and set appointment for 12/21 for pickup at the Minneapolis location.
Called DS on 12/18/2017 for an update, said the vehicle did not make it on a truck yet and that Tesla was in a "holding pattern" when it came to shipping.

Still waiting for any details. Tesla account portal still says Your Tesla is currently in production, which hasn't changed since it was posted, and the Estimated Delivery Date disappeared on the portal when the vehicle went into production.

Bbbrown, i dont see my MX red with 22” wheels on the trailer. My delivery is supossed to be this week. Maybe mine was the one they had already removed. I can hope.

Thanks for the photo and I hope yours is on the trailer.

My DS is Kyle he is very good at getting back to e about updates. This is the strangest purchasing experiance i have had with a car. Its almost like waiting for delivery of a child i guess. Hard for me to say i dont have any kids. However the excitement builds evey day you get closer to delivery. Excited, yet hopeful the baby/car is healthy when it arrives.

Tony
Yep the wait is a killer but we are almost there! Just to show you how much of a nerd I am about all this, I looked on the spreadsheet to see if the cars on the trailer matched anything for Portland/Seattle. I saw that the red one had the wrong wheels for it to be going to Seattle!

Grrr -- Spoke too soon. Kyle just called ( 24 hours before our apt to pick up the car) to tell us our car hasn't arrived -- it's sitting in California still. Let me know if you get the same response for yours. So sad I wont get it before xmas - Really turns my stomach for the experience but I will get over it. Frustrating that people on the east coast who ordered after me already have their car. My patience has run out! Now I just need to focus on getting it before EOY or else we will be really mad.

Bbbrown, I hope we get our cars... If we have to take delivery in 2018 I am going to push for a discount (at least $7,500 tax credit) or request a new car with a 2018 vin. The depreciation is going to be big for the first year... I am going to call Kyle tomorrow and see if my MX is there.

Interesting statement you made about the red one on the trailer having the wrong wheels. I wonder if that could be my car? I am not sure what spreadsheet you are referring to. I have seen some other post referring to spreadsheets...

Hi Tesla Family

Took delivery of a Model X 100D Thursday at Rockville, MD SC. Could not have been a smoother process, all went very well
No major/minor issues, service team gave me all the time I needed and I didnt feel any pressure.
Special thanks to Rafael, Rob and Gannon for all their help making it a great experience.

Thanks also to @GOPJEW for allowing me to attend his delivery the day before.

Received confirmation from our DS yesterday that our Model X will be delivered on 12/27/2017! Tesla portal updated last night and now reads "Your Tesla has been built and is in transit from the factory."

Here is the link -- It tracks cars when people input their info. It was helpful to look at during the process. We are almost at the finish line tho. I feel the same way about the VIN needing changed if we get it in 2018 vs 2017.
Model X Order & Delivery 2017

Bbbrown, I just received an email from Kyle and my MX is not being delivered today. He hopes it comes in on Tuesday. I let him know I would not be pleased with a car that’s delivered in 2018 with a vin of 2017. I let him know I would hope Tesla would make it rite with the $7,500 tax credit being removed from the new tax bill and the $20,000 to $30,000 depreciation for the first year of the car. I see some showroom MX deing discounted by as much as $40,000 for a P100D.

Anyway I hope we get out cars this year and not have to deal with negotiations in 2018.

Bbbrown, thanks for the google sheet info. I uploaded my info into the spreadsheet. I did not see yours...

I received an email from Kyle he is saying I should still be able to get my MX on the 28th. You are welcome to come by and see my car (that is if it arrives). I am scheduled for 9:00 on the 28th. This may change I am going to wait for Kyle to call before I hit the road. Long drive from Palm Springs to Portland to pick up the car. I will need two days drive to get home...

Thanks
Tony

Ugh. This is turning into a headache to say the least. Placed a reservation for a vehicle on 11/19/17 for a vehicle that already was scheduled for production and had a VIN of 78XXX... someone must've backed out or cancelled? Expected delivery was 3-4 weeks in writing. Received a phone call 12/8/17 that they couldn't guarantee delivery at the SC by the end of the year because they were backed up with reservations and suggested Home Delivery to ensure a delivery in 2017. I, of course, obliged as I just want to have the vehicle in time. Have tried to be patient and just kept checking online for updates until last night when I started to become weary. Called today an am being told they MIGHT be pushing delivery back until late January? Online, it's says (for at least the last 2-3 weeks) "What's Next? - You will be contacted by a Tesla delivery specialist to arrange for payment and delivery of your Model X." Already have the NEMA 14-50 installed, accessories purchased, etc. Any thoughts or recommendations would are welcome.

So New member here.. awesome forum. Just looked at the google doc and found my order, my referral code and town def. confirmed but some of the other info is incorrect, i.e. seats say 7 I ordered 6 and it says premium but I didnt order the premium package. So long story but I’ll try and make it short, my lease is up on Jan.4th I ordered my MX 75D on Oct. 10th confirmed the 14th. Early December I saw on my account late January/ Eary feb. delivery. Reached out to my sales guy he pushed me to the delivery manager at Mannhaset. He mentioned the vehicle hasn’t started production and that it wouldn’t be ready until late Jan. Very accomodating with a few options and at the same time they sent me over a few inventory options but all 100D’s. Most of all with premium upgrades. They found a vehicle that was slotted to be a showroom vehicle with 14miles on it, with incentive pricing I said yes and I’m picking it up tomorrow. Obviously very excited but, on the google doc it says my order was delivered?? I doubt this happened but did they give my vehicle away and pin me in a corner to take another vehicle because of my federal tax concern? We know now that the credit will be available but, just curious why it says my order was delivered and how accurate that sheet is..

Unfortunately you are not the only one to have experienced this. @dmann ordered his in October and they called him and told him same thing - I ordered mine 11/10 and took delivery already - @dmann is waiting until January now too.

Not sure what their intention was but apparently home delivery caused some problems. Sorry to hear this...

Gotcha.. sorry to hear about others having a similar experience- I’ll ask tomorrow and see if they give me any ideas.. Really excited about picking up tomorrow!
