Yep the wait is a killer but we are almost there! Just to show you how much of a nerd I am about all this, I looked on the spreadsheet to see if the cars on the trailer matched anything for Portland/Seattle. I saw that the red one had the wrong wheels for it to be going to Seattle!Bbbrown, i dont see my MX red with 22” wheels on the trailer. My delivery is supossed to be this week. Maybe mine was the one they had already removed. I can hope.
Thanks for the photo and I hope yours is on the trailer.
My DS is Kyle he is very good at getting back to e about updates. This is the strangest purchasing experiance i have had with a car. Its almost like waiting for delivery of a child i guess. Hard for me to say i dont have any kids. However the excitement builds evey day you get closer to delivery. Excited, yet hopeful the baby/car is healthy when it arrives.

Grrr -- Spoke too soon. Kyle just called ( 24 hours before our apt to pick up the car) to tell us our car hasn't arrived -- it's sitting in California still. Let me know if you get the same response for yours. So sad I wont get it before xmas - Really turns my stomach for the experience but I will get over it. Frustrating that people on the east coast who ordered after me already have their car. My patience has run out! Now I just need to focus on getting it before EOY or else we will be really mad.Bbbrown, i dont see my MX red with 22” wheels on the trailer. My delivery is supossed to be this week. VIN 785XX
Ordered: 11/10/2017
Order Confirmation Email: 11/13/2017
Original Delivery Date: Late December - Early January
Updated Delivery Date: Mid - Late December
Vehicle listed as in production on the Tesla portal week of 11/19/2017 (received no email)
Call from DS on 12/9/2017 saying the vehicle was in paint, expected to ship on 12/15 and set appointment for 12/21 for pickup at the Minneapolis location.
Called DS on 12/18/2017 for an update, said the vehicle did not make it on a truck yet and that Tesla was in a "holding pattern" when it came to shipping.
Still waiting for any details. Tesla account portal still says Your Tesla is currently in production, which hasn't changed since it was posted, and the Estimated Delivery Date disappeared on the portal when the vehicle went into production.
Here is the link -- It tracks cars when people input their info. It was helpful to look at during the process. We are almost at the finish line tho. I feel the same way about the VIN needing changed if we get it in 2018 vs 2017.Bbbrown, I hope we get our cars... If we have to take delivery in 2018 I am going to push for a discount (at least $7,500 tax credit) or request a new car with a 2018 vin. The depreciation is going to be big for the first year... I am going to call Kyle tomorrow and see if my MX is there.
Interesting statement you made about the red one on the trailer having the wrong wheels. I wonder if that could be my car? I am not sure what spreadsheet you are referring to. I have seen some other post referring to spreadsheets...

My mx been in production 11-28. Still says in production on website.
Wow that’s a long time in Production... I wonder if something is wrong. Mine took about 12 days...
Good luck keep us updated.
Thanks
Tony
Unfortunately you are not the only one to have experienced this. @dmann ordered his in October and they called him and told him same thing - I ordered mine 11/10 and took delivery already - @dmann is waiting until January now too.Ugh. This is turning into a headache to say the least. Placed a reservation for a vehicle on 11/19/17 for a vehicle that already was scheduled for production and had a VIN of 78XXX... someone must've backed out or cancelled? Expected delivery was 3-4 weeks in writing. Received a phone call 12/8/17 that they couldn't guarantee delivery at the SC by the end of the year because they were backed up with reservations and suggested Home Delivery to ensure a delivery in 2017. I, of course, obliged as I just want to have the vehicle in time. Have tried to be patient and just kept checking online for updates until last night when I started to become weary. Called today an am being told they MIGHT be pushing delivery back until late January? Online, it's says (for at least the last 2-3 weeks) "What's Next? - You will be contacted by a Tesla delivery specialist to arrange for payment and delivery of your Model X." Already have the NEMA 14-50 installed, accessories purchased, etc. Any thoughts or recommendations would are welcome.
Gotcha.. sorry to hear about others having a similar experience- I’ll ask tomorrow and see if they give me any ideas.. Really excited about picking up tomorrow!Unfortunately you are not the only one to have experienced this. @dmann ordered his in October and they called him and told him same thing - I ordered mine 11/10 and took delivery already - @dmann is waiting until January now too.
Not sure what their intention was but apparently home delivery caused some problems. Sorry to hear this...
Candy - I was not referring to you - was referring to @rms57 post.Gotcha.. sorry to hear about others having a similar experience- I’ll ask tomorrow and see if they give me any ideas.. Really excited about picking up tomorrow!
