If you've received your 2021 Model 3 Performance, have you put winter wheels&tires on?

Does anyone know the load rating for the 20" Uberturbines? I'm wondering if they would be suitable for the MYP.

That is a pretty irrelevant question. Tires have load ratings, wheels do not.

What you really want to validate is the wheel size consistency (or lack therefore) between M3 and MY.
The information you seek is here: Winter Tires - Prefresh on 2021 Model

Spoiler alert - M3 wheels are at least 1" narrower than MY wheels, which will constrain the width of tires that they can carry. Which will adversely limit your tires choices for MY application.

That's also just not correct. The Martian wheels, and Tsportline wheels both list their load rating. Yes, tires also have load ratings. But I'm going from a 21" uberturbine wheel/tire, to hopefully this 20", which gives me many more tire options. Plus, most tires are good to fit on rims from 8 to 9.5" width, easily fitting most wheels.

These are the wheels I bought from tire rack. At the time, they were offering an instant rebate of $15 off each wheel so they were the most cost efficient. I didn’t feel like spending much if they were going to be my winter set.
I was interested in these wheels (MSW Type 27T), but about a week ago, tire rack recently changed their filters now stating these will not fit the 2021 Model 3 Performance. Can you confirm they fit the 2021? How much clearance around the caliper, do you have any pictures?

64.1mm can work, if that tiny bit of the bore is machined to make room for that little chamfer. Some manufacturers do this as part of making Tesla wheels - See Martian Wheels for example. If they do not specifically do the chamfer machining for the Performance model issues, then yes, you need to get the larger size and use what are called centering rings. They are little metal or plastic inserts, with inside diameter matching the hub and outside diameter matching the bore in the wheel. That makes the wheel act like it was bored to the correct size and centers properly when torquing down lug nuts.
Hi there, I am going through the whole...brand new Model 3 Performance + needing winter set. I ordered a set of 18x8 FC04 wheels that come with hub spacers to drop some 225 crossclimate 2's on. I don't have any prior experience with wheels so I have been trying to learn as much as possible. Your post was by far the most clear and informative regarding the 3 Performance wheels and hub differences from standard models. Off the cuff, is there anything specific I should be checking when the wheels arrive to verify before accepting delivery? I have a set of calipers.

Thanks!

I have a 2019 performance. I don’t know why they wouldn’t fit a 2021. I thought the specs were the same for the hub and calipers? Btw, there’s plenty of clearance.
