I’m collecting on the 27th. I just got a text within the last 30mins re-stating my VIN. I presumed I was on Helios Ray, however the text aligns with when Viking Ocean left Southampton. So I think it’s likely I was on Viking. A lot of people on FB have also been getting texts within the last 30mins.

Presumably, these texts are issued after the vehicle has been inspected for damage in transport and when OKed, scanned and confirmed OK to transport to final customer collection point.

Not 11 days worth, but I suspect there’s an element of buffer to allow for repairs and detailing if needed along with registration and people who may have got earlier appointments than you.

Spirit of Discovery is alongside at Berth 101 and according to her itinerary she is due to leave on her next cruise at 18:00 with Helios Ray taking the berth at 19:00.

Do they start to unload tonight or wait until the morning?

She’s not coming in till 05:15 now so will start unloading at 06:00

I received the same text with VIN and licence plate about 30 mins ago.

Hopefully you’re correct about texts being sent when cars are ready to transport. I was starting to think that my collection for 27/11 was likely to be delayed, as I was assuming my LR was on Helios Ray.

Due to be collecting from Trafford on the 26th and been told that is this still the case so fingers crossed this overnight delay isn’t going to cause any hiccups

They didn’t say if it was HR or VO they just said it was due in today or tomorrow

They've still got over 9 days to get from Southampton to Manchester, thats about a day and a halves travel max, why would you think it would be delayed? They'll have a buffer for these things.

The only thing I know of is this live video feed of the Solent from Ryde Church tower - however its of minimal use at night!!!

By the sounds of it VO was always on for today but HR was either today or tomorrow. Doesn’t matter as long as we get them on time

Yeah that makes sense. I suppose it was the large numbers arriving in a short space of time that got me concerned

Sorry.. for no locals that means you can see ships approaching and leaving Southampton docks, keep an eye out for delayed departure of Spirit of Discovery at 0:30 tomorrow which has meant knock on delay to Helios Ray arriving at 5:15

We are collecting on the 26th and also got the plate number text today at around 6.30pm.
