2022.16.3 - cars go dark

Hi all,

Just go the 2022.16.3 update with the new car graphics.

Does anyone know why the cars start of greyscale and then fade to black as they pass?

Does anyone know why the cars start of greyscale and then fade to black as they pass?

I noticed this over the weekend. I think what's going on is the cars on the display turn dark when the AI is targeting it for distance keeping or such. Once the car moves out of the area and is no longer a concern for the AI to worry about it seems to go "light" again. Also cars up ahead which aren't a primary concern stay light while cars in more direct lines of concern go dark.

At least thats how it seems to me with a few days of driving on the new software.
