Got VIN today (Austin built)
EDD3: 2/21 - 2/28

Looks like all MYLR5 in SoCal (LA, OC, SD, IE) are now coming from Austin.

Congrats! I also ordered on 1/14/2023. Delivery was February 2-16 on January 30; then pushed to February 10-16. Nothing has changed to date. I hope I get a VIN soon.

That is interesting observation. I would have thought Fremont would be default for Southern California

4680 (standard range) are currently only assembled at Austin, but Austin doesn’t assemble only that one, they also assemble 5 seater long range versions.

OD on 1/19. I think color affect delivery date.

Off topic, anyone from Georgia ? Wondering how the sales tax on a new car is calculated if i sold my car which is replaced with a new car. Ex : I bought a new car for 50k, sold my old car to private party, do i pay sales tax on 40k (50-10k) or 50 k ? Old car was titled in Ga.

It seems most people who upgraded had no change or very minor change in EDD after the upgrade. Me included.

Congrats. I’m assuming you’re paying all cash and not financing with 3rd party. You’re taking delivery 3 days after getting your VIN. What was the farthest date option when they contacted you for delivery? Was 2/12 the earliest time?

I live in Georgia. Sales tax is 6.6%. If you sold the car first and used the money you made (assuming it's 10k) as a down payment, you should just pay the 6.6% sales tax on the remaining 40k.

Received VIN 2/10 and was able to take delivery Feb 15th-19th. Picking up the 18th! Austin VIN
