Did 45 states of my 50 state challenge by my son to do all 50 this year. With 3 down previously (Washington, Oregon, and California), that makes 48.

This is the list (in order) of the 45 which took about 4 weeks

Nevada
Idaho
Montana
Wyoming
South Dakota
North Dakota
Minnesota
Wisconsin
Iowa
Nebraska
Missouri
Kansas
Arkansas
Illinois
Kentucky
Indiana
Ohio
Michigan
Pennsylvania
New York
Vermont
New Hampshire
Maine
Massachusetts
Rhode Island
Connecticut
New Jersey
Delaware
Maryland
D.C.
Virginia
West Virginia
Tennessee
North Carolina
South Carolina
Georgia
Florida
Alabama
Mississippi
Louisiana
Texas
Oklahoma
New Mexico
Arizona
Colorado
Utah

Using SpC's cost for the 45 segment was $383 for 10,913 miles

Alaska and Hawaii are left - but not with the Tesla. Planning to fly to Anchorage (just the airport) to change planes to Hawaii.

Nice, but do it the other way around. Fly to Hawaii and then go to Anchorage and spend your vacation there. Nothing beats Alaskan summers

Yeah, but it will be October. Not that I don't like Alaska - (been there numerous times with NASA), but trying to schedule a 'time share' trip coinciding with grandchild's fall break from school. I will meet them in Hawaii. (Funny that it's cheaper to fly there through Alaska - should be a vacation tip)
