Acronyms

Can we please cut back on the acronym's or maybe make a sticky thread that defines them? Terminology like this is new to me, so reading some of these threads is very challenging.

The one that confused me for the longest time was DS. I believe that's Delivery Specialist. It's a start! Edmond is right though - you will catch on pretty quickly.

Welcome to the world of tech! Everything is an acronym. It can be maddening. I actually used one that I found here that stumped Tesla when I ordered my car. People here were referring to the center console insert as the CCI. So I kept asking my DS (ha!) about the status of my CCI and he wouldn't respond. I finally called, all frustrated, and he said "I'm really sorry, but we don't release information about credit card information". I cracked up and apologized. They called it what is was: a center console insert.

I learned my lesson, as the delivery of the insert was waaay delayed because he had no idea what I was talking about!

I vote for acronyms sticky. That would be very helpful. For now, just write down all the ones you don't know and post them here, and someone can fill you in.

I too was having a HECK of a time with their acronyms:

Space(X) acronyms and abbreviations

And, Of Course I Still Love You!

I kept mixing up ASDS with AC/DC (yes the band)...
