Aftermarket Rotiform Aerodiscs Wheels

Hi all.

I saw Rotiform has aerodiscs that can be customized with graphics. They only work on there RSE and LAS-R wheel models in 19 inches. What do you think? I would do the RSE with black aerodiscs.

I've been eyeing these and have been trying to find other turbofan style wheels too! I think they'll look great or at the very least very unique. I wonder if they'll improve efficiency over the stock aerowheels. A real turbofan wheel is design to suck in air to cool the brakes.

If I get another set of wheels it would be these. You should try them so we can all see what it'll look like!

Besides cool prints,I think the covers would be a great source of hilarity. Imagine putting Elon's face on them.

There is somebody who has these on their 3 and saw a reduction of about 30Wh/mi from the factory 20's. It would be nice if there would be more wheels like these offered. For aerodynamics, the only down side is that the disks extend out from the wheel like a real turbofan wheel to grab air and shoot it towards the wheel. I really wish somebody would make an aftermarket wheel with an aerodynamic cover like the factory 18". The cast wheel versions of these are in the affordable range, but the forged version gets really expensive. It would be interesting to see what the lighter forged wheel plus aerodisc would do for efficiency.

Amen. I've been saying this over here:

Aftermarket Wheels on Model 3

I'd even be interested in the forged stuff for even lighter weight. Hell if someone made a carbon barrel or full carbon aero option i'd even spring for that.

Hello, this is my Y. I have 19LAS-R wheels. I've had them for almost a year and range has not affect me but I really dont pay much attention to this. It look different and some people do and dont like it. Last week i saw that rotiform is now offering it for 18s.i have several sets and sometimes i only put two in the back or front... well the fun part is that you can have different looks every time.

Thought I would share my knockoff covers. Bought these used from a TMC member.

I bored out the holes so you can address tire pressures, then added red pin stripes.

No idea on efficiency since 2023.7.10 was loaded the same weekend and has hosed my energy app. Even the trip meter wh/mi is crazy at low speeds.

Wife absolutely hates them while I think they are great. Gonna keep them on as long as possible and maybe she'll get used to them.
