The bronze looks solid! I was concerned with my white interior about doing bronze...might have to rethink that.I've posted elsewhere, but might as well post in this thread.

Early morning shot right before swapping wheels and hitting the track, so pardon the lighting.
The consensus is that if you go 20 staggered you’ll be in the low 300 Wh/mi range. But then again this thread is for people that want wheel porn. I’m on the fence running lightest 19” squares setup to have the best of both worlds. I saw that Enkei 19” TFR are sub 21 lbs squared and it’s affordable just in case wifey messes up a wheel and I need to grab another oneI'm tempted to get a set of Vorsteiner 107 in 20x9 and 20x10.5. But I'm concerned about the impact to range. I'm currently running 18" aeros. How's everyone's experience switching from 18" aero to 20x10.5?

Not seeing anything on their website about an 18'' or 19'' forged wheel that accepts aero covers..
Thanks for that.
Thanks for that.
from the post "1) We're using flow-forming (or rotary forging as some prefer) for the barrel construction as this dramatically reduces mass at the outer radius and gives you the biggest win on reducing inertia while keeping pricing in mere-mortal range."
so, still a flow formed cast wheel.
not forged, heaver and less expensive.
i'm talking all out no holes barred forged SUPER light - even carbon barrels is what would be the ultimate wheel. then a removable aero cover, maybe carbon.
I'd buy a set and so would many many others

I’d image a carbon wheel would be at least 3-4K per wheel...probably more. Can’t image many people wanting to buy them....considering most wont even spend that much on a full set of forged monoblocks.
Flow formed wheels can get pretty lightweight depending on the design.
But, here's another one that's fully forged, monoblock, albeit not the kind of design like the aeros:
The New Aero - Wheels
Point being, I think they're coming. The model 3 is still barely more than a year old, so aftermarket options will come eventually. They just don't come as fast as we would like.
