Agile users may well get a Christmas present over the next few days, as the margin forecast from NG until 27th December is looking good, lots of wind generation, so low wholesale prices, and that should translate into a few days of lower Agile pricing. NG have confirmed that the previous wind generation record was broken yesterday afternoon, with peak generation reaching 17.278 GW.

This is the first month in 18 since my smart meter install where go would have been lower cost, I'll stick with agile.

Agile should be cheap tonight, judging from the level of wind generation. Close to beating the record set in January this year, which was 17.1 GW (just checked and it was hovering around 17 GW).

Quick question, as we get 4 hours for free tomorrow I have disabled smart charging on ev.energy and scheduled a start time of 08.00 in the car. Is this the best way to do it as the rate doesn't show as free on Watch etc?

Yep, that's what I've done. (Not Scheduled departure) just remember to knock it off at midday or set your charge % accordingly

Well, charging started at 8.00 and finished at 11.58 oh the simple things
