Android 13 phone key works for me

After a month of my intentionally delaying updating my Pixel 6a to Android 13 due to the reports on this forum that 13 messes up use of the phone key, my phone updated itself when my finger slipped. However, there seems to have been no effect on my ability to use my phone as a key, either on my 2018 model 3 or my wife's 2021 model Y.

I wish I could give advice to those still having problems using the phone key with 13, but I did nothing special; I did not even have to re-connect the phone key to the cars.

i wonder if s/x have a different Bluetooth stack that's breaking it

This is the update needed, but fold 4 under Verizon means I'll be waiting a long time for both Samsung and Verizon to push it through.. pixel devices already got it which is why the other poster didn't experience any problems.

No wonder my phone's been having slightly more disconnection issues... Hopefully the upcoming security update will fix it.

I just got the January update from T-Mobile and it fixed the issue.

Same here - ZF3 works on MY but no luck with MX

My wife's Pixel 6 and my Pixel 7 have had zero issues on the M3 with Android 13. We had Android 13 before we even purchased the Tesla.
