Love the original glossy black but not the daily cleaning required ... I installed this White Carbon fiber console wrap. Love it do far, even if I was not 100% satisfy of my installation. What do you think ?

I did mine with a roll of wrap and took the console out of the car hoping to make it look better by wrapping around the edges. First the middle part doesn’t come off easy so that didn’t provide much help. Second, as you can see in yours the white really accentuates how not-flush the panels are when closed. I’m considering leaving the cup holders white and going back to black for the rest.

Yeah, the white does look sharp, but the misalignment definitely jumped out at me looking at the photos

Looks good guys. That piano finish is not ideal and I love the look of a white console blending with the white interior. I had my consoles wrapped at delivery.
Yep, will probably go back with a black carbon wrap or even the original glossy black when I would like a change

Based on looking at countless wrap threads over time, I'm just beyond convinced that gloss black was chosen specifically so that the visual impact of poorly aligned console panels would be minimized.

I ordered the white version (via AliExpress for <$30) and assume it will end up working great. It does appear to have a bit of shine compared to the satin or matte wrap many use though. It should arrive in a few days (ordered a couple weeks ago).

Sure, will post some pics after install. My guess is that yeah...the panel alignment issue won't be fixed by this. It is what it is but let's see.

But with a molded plastic piece (as opposed to a wrap) you could theoretically add a little here and there to compensate for the misalignment

My 2020 has console wrap in satin white and it does not accentuate any misalignment as the alignment is very good.
I was thinking of the same for my MY - can you please share your thoughts and pics once you get them installed? Thanks!
Good idea - some foamy double sided tape could maybe compensate. But that could also possibly impact the opening and closing of the compartment too...worth a try though
