Rivian delays electric pickup to summer 2021 - Electrek

Rivian just announced their electric pickup truck is delayed AGAIN. Jeez, like making an electric truck is so difficult. This has been going on for what now? 3 years+? And no matter what Rivian makes, it'll suck in comparison to Tesla.

They said deliveries were delayed from late 2020 to 2021 due to the pandemic.

Now, they specified June 2020 for the truck and August 2020 for the SUV.

Maybe Rivian should release the trucks ahead of schedule. That way everyone can spend time looking at crappy paint, panel gaps, back seats that don’t line up, and they can listen to motor whine only on some of the vehicles, but not others.

I hope that Rivian is doing it right.
