Another update weirdness

Can anyone explain the utility of moving the clock and gear position readout from the left side to the right side of the driver's screen? Seems so gratuitous, just one more thing to get used to. (eyeballs never have got used to the various ways Tesla protects me from dangerous lane changes, finally just bought the old reliable convex mirrors and stuck them on the rearviews)

As someone who has driven Teslas for many years now, this is the proper place. Having it directly above the gear selector makes the most sense since your eyes find the gear indicator easier naturally as you activate the shift stalk. They moved it right to left a year or two ago and I never understood it. It drive me nuts. I'm not a fan of constant change but this is one I can get behind so long as they leave it now.
