Any chance Tesla will offer a retrofit for Polynesian elevator music?

New Tesla feature coming that enables your car to play snake jazz or Polynesian elevator music through its outside speakers wherever you go

Do the current Model S vehicles shipping have the exterior noise maker?

Not that this is an option I would want to be "always on" but I'd love to be able to play sounds on demand. When driving around a parking lot, I've had to sometimes roll a window down and yell "Could you please excuse me" to make room when someone walks in the middle of the lane I'm on because they could not hear the car.

Would be nice if this is an option you can add to play sounds on demand but not if it comes at the expense of it being "always on."

The problem in such situations is that I never use the horn because it is crazy loud and there is no way to make a polite beep with a Model S horn. The Model S horn only has one mode: "Get the $%$&^ out of my way NOW!" :D:p Polynesian elevator music would be perfect.

With the absolutely atrocious insulation in the S, they don't need external speakers. The internal ones do a damn good job on their own announcing my presence to anyone nearby.
I was supercharging next to someone talking on the phone through the Tesla Bluetooth, it’s crazy how loud it is on the outside, I could hear and understand the other person with my window rolled down.

I'm an attorney and I don't use the Bluetooth in the car. I just don't answer my phone because I can't risk privilege being jeopardized. This is our only car. Luckily I only commute for Court appearances and since March we've had none and won't have for some time. But it is a big difference between Tesla's and real luxury cars and even mid end cars like a Camry or Avalon.

As long as they don't try to play this music off a connected USB then it should work fine ;)

Many years ago, a friend died in a traffic accident. While the mourners awaited the start of the memorial service, we exchanged furtive glances over the oddly up-tempo and vastly inappropriate music selection. When we inquired, we were told that this was the music from the CD the deceased had in his car, presumably the last music he ever heard.

Ever since, I've been paranoid about what music I play in my car..."Crap, I do NOT want 'Baby One More Time' played over my casket"
