Any Recommendations for Hitch Tow Cargo?

once you are done, can you supply photos? also what is the weight you expect on the hitch?

I'll try to post pics. I haven't decided what's going in the 70gal container. It will be more loaded on the return trip. Hitch carrier is rated 500lbs same as the aftermarket hitch I installed. I won't be anywhere close to that limit.

It's just 2 philips screws. If there's an easier way I'd like to hear it.

I use those magnets to easilly remove my license plate when moving it on the back of my bicyle carrier.

i wouldn't get specifically for the y since its 55lb which eats into the 160lb vertical tongue weight limit for hitch accessories (350lb with a trailer) so i can only load about 100lbs more. I would get one of the lighter aluminum ones previously mentioned.

I haven't used it yet (leaving next week) but I bought a used aluminum rack like the HF but folding. I was told by the seller it came from Tractor Supply. I wanted folding since some SC have a barrier preventing backing up enough to connect. I'll be using a 70gal HDX container from Home Depot. Had to put a license plate mount on it to avoid getting stopped.

How were the trips and how much does it way?
Did you leave it on the whole trip or take it off at your destination?

Trip was fine. Didn't weigh it but probably<100lbs. At some SC In had to almost touch the barrier for the cord to reach. I removed it when not using it.

I bought a used one of these on facebook marketplace for $200: StowAway Cargo Carriers - Versatility in Action. Works well, but I haven't tried it with a supercharger yet.
