Anyone do their own XPEL Ultimate?

Good question, always ask a lot of questions. The bottom line is some parts of the car you can do yourself. The headlights for sure.
Caution, once the film is off the backing, there is no turning back, it has to be installed. Also, once it is on the vehicle and dried a little, you are done. We have seen it before and some guys do an ok job, but thats about the quality level. ok..........

So, on the model S, an average, hands-on guy will do an average job. Don't try the Bumper, its too unyielding and hard to install even with 2 guys working together.

If you want a good job, outsource it for the tougher areas-Bumper, fenders, mirrors, I am presuming you have a Tesla and you could do a decent job on the Hood because it isnt complicated and self explanatory. The videos make it look way easier than it is.
