Anyone else with Model X Scheduled Delivery on 9/30 (aka last day of Q3)?

I’m so annoyed and frustrated by the complete lack of communication and broken promises. My delivery last week didn’t happen and I only found out because I called to confirm before I drove 300 miles to get it. We got rid of a car because we were told I’d have it by now so it’s a pain to get around. It was supposed to get to the SC today and guess what? It’s still “in transit” and I’ve heard nothing from anyone.
I’m not nearly as excited to get it as I was, I’m just completely sick of the endless suspense and lack of effort on their part to make me happy. I’m sure I’ll forget all this after I eventually get it but I’m sure starting this out with a bad taste in my mouth.

We're on the same boat brother. Delayed delivery, with no communication, and both OA and DS did not respond to any emails. My car was delivered dirty inside and out, with marker writing on the windshield, residue glue from some sticker and no plates.

I love Tesla but honestly this was the most frustrating and dissapointing delivery experience I've ever had. My 2015 Model S delivery was none of these.

Success!

Original appt was 7:30pm but they texted me about the 2h delay (as they did for everybody it seems) . I arrived around 10:15 pm, was told it would be another couple of hours. Went and had dinner nearby at BJs (pizza!), getting a text around 11:45 that they were ready for me. Made it back 20 minutes later and was signing docs within 5 minutes. Handed over payment and went to check out the car while that processed — hard to inspect in the dark but it looked great from what my cell phone’s flashlight could illuminate.

It was around 1am when all was said and done. The drive home was fantastic on a deserted highway. Such a super, smooth ride.

For those of you who took delivery of an inventory car on 9/30, did you get free supercharging?

We got our home delivery on 9/30 at 10pm and now when we login, we see this: 400kwh / year!?!?!?

When did you place your order? I placed mine on 9/18, after the 9/16 original deadline was extended to that date (EOD) by @elonmusk. I have unlimited supercharging on my account page.

Placed on Saturday 9/29. Yes we cut it really close, but still met the deadline. Our owner advisor really hit this one out of the park and made it happen. According to him, everything on their end shows free supercharging, but to give my Tesla account 2 weeks for all of the docs, etc to process through.

Oh I was just worrying about that myself! My account page shows 400KW per year only. Ordered and received by 9/30. Order adviser, delivery specialist nowhere to be found

My understanding of the requirements was simply: order by the 18th, delivery by end of year (I think it was?).

The finance rate was due to change after the 30th so that's what I was focused on. I'm not aware of any S or X orders placed after the 18th getting lifetime supercharging, but that could just reflect my ignorance about it. My account shows lifetime (ordered afternoon if the 18th).

Finally got a picture in today.

Some updates: I was contacted by a Tesla service rep who scheduled me with a "post-delivery" repair center that focuses more on cosmetic issues/defects that I've experienced (gaps, missing interior parts, stains, etc). The rep said they're trying to free up service centers to deal with more serious mechanical or system issues, which luckily I have not noticed in my Model X.

Also, a sales manager confirmed that I did have a referral code and ordered before 9/30 which will entitle me to free unlimited Supercharging (I ordered on 9/22). They update their systems in batches and if I incur any charges in the meantime, she assured me that I would receive a refund when my account updates.

Great idea to have separate service center for delivery issue.

Just an update, after repeated attempts to get the Owner Advisor to assist in getting the free supercharging addressed, I ended up sending an inquiry through the mytesla portal and addressed it to "executive team".

I received an email about 48hrs later stating the following, and now my account properly reflects the unlimited free supercharging. For those of you still stuck with the 400kwh/year status, you may want to send the same inquiry!

This is the email reply I received:
Thank you for reaching out to us here at the Executive Care Team and congratulations on your new Tesla!

The process to enable free, unlimited Supercharging usually occurs over the first few weeks of ownership. This is a manual process and our teams are working diligently to ensure this feature has been activated for all qualified customers.

I have confirmed you do have Free Unlimited Supercharging on your order and your vehicle configuration will soon update to reflect this. Any paid supercharging sessions will automatically be refunded or waived once the configuration change goes into affect for your Model X.

For future customer support needs, please feel free to reach out directly to our dedicated customer support teams via [email protected] or call 24/7 - 877-798-3752
