Have no concerns carrying bikes/ebikes on this rack. The only real downside is that when it's on the car not being used, it sticks out quite a bit from the back of the vehicle and even folded renders rear sensors (and backup cam when folded) useless. If I could do it again, I'd probably go for the 1UP rack. I've seen a multitude of MY with the 1UP racks and the best part is that they fold up when not in use.
I have had this rack for about a year. I take it off when not in use and the wheels make it easy to move. I like the way it can tilt to open the hatch with the bikes on it.
I used the Thule on my M3 SR until I sold it. Used it on my MY till I sold that. etrailer.com has installation video.
Edit: I WAS going to sell it, but decided it would come in handy to take the ebike for repairs when necessary.
