AP max speed, undivided roads

Just a bit of a grumble and curiosity…

Does anyone else find it extremely annoying that AP is limited to a max speed of 10km/h over the speed limit on roads that aren’t divided / separated?

Around here you can pretty much guarantee inducing road rage driving only 10 over the limit, to the point of feeling unsafe.

I just need 15km/h over the limit.

I could almost understand at higher speeds having the limit due to safety concerns with the system’s capabilities but given it will happily allow 100 in a 90 zone, allowing 95 in an 80 seems reasonable.

Is this not annoying for anyone else?

Actually that is probably one of the only other than it is what we learned to use and are stuck with. Quick: How many inches in a mile or how many yards in 3 miles? Even in the US an inch is defined as being 25.4mm.

Not really. Autosteer won’t go more than 5mph over the speed limit on secondary roads.

Oops. I'm an idiot. I guess metric is better. I usually only use Autosteer on divided highways. TACC alone doesn't have that limitation.
Metric is bad because it's base-10. There's a reason that metric time never happened (Sumerians and Babylonians were right about base-60!).

Sexagesimal can be nonintuitive and confusing also. Just add the following times quickly for the correct total time. In base 10 you could do this in your head.

Yeah I'm guessing 8km/h over the posted limit would have caused much more confusion than rounding up to 10! So I suppose we are a bit faster still... Just not fast enough.
