App nor octopus IO not waking up model 3

You will always get the cheaper rates for ALL usage between 23:30 and 5:30. There is nothing currently to stop you "abusing" the system and just setting your car to charge at 23:30. its not really in the spirit of the plan but if IO is unreliable I would not blame anyone for doing that.

Cool, if that's the case i may go back to getting my charger to trigger the charge like i did on Octo Go

I find the issue is with WIFI.
I just removed the WIFI extender which I use for tesla to update the software.

previously you could disable wifi and it used mobbile connection. and unless you had blackspot - it was all good
now, if you disable wifi it automatically re-enables after each drive. another super stupid decision by tesla.

I suspect that when car is sleeping wifi is working on minimal mode or even has less priority than mobile. and the connection to car just times out while car is on wifi.

decided to use wifi only when software needs to be updated and ny wifi extender is disconnected until required...
