app notifications

got my car friday. love it. what's the deal with app notifications, though?

on my android, i get notifications from the Tesla app that say "Connected", "Disconnected"... back and forth.

at home and at the gym.

why is it connecting, disconnecting connecting, disconnecting..... and bothering to tell me?

These are the phone key status notifications. You can turn them off by long pressing on the notification, tapping the gear, then flipping the switch for "Phone key status". That will leave the other notifications enabled.

So when it is connected, does that mean someone can push the handle and unlock the door? The range of this thing is epic as the car is in the garage and my phone is 3 rooms and one floor away, and if it will unlock that means I have to be aware when I park outside of the garage

I get text messages on my iPhone that I have Tesla notifications. When I click on the message it takes me to the Tesla app. However I still have not figured out to find the messages in the app. Where can I access them. I am afraid I may miss important information.

When opening your Tesla App, on the top righ there is a user icon.
This will go to your profile where you can find your account information.
