Are scale models still being given at delivery? :)

Delivery team member who did my walkthrough gave me one just before I left, this past Wednesday.

They were supposed to go to Day 1 reservists, but with how the ordering system has been opened up to everyone, it’s become a “first to take delivery-first to get a diecast” by most Delivery locations from what I can tell.

As a Day 1 reservist who is picking up their car this Saturday, I’ll be pretty upset if they are out because they handed them out to everyone.

I picked up my car about 2 weeks ago and reserve o 3/31 before the car was shown. Mine was not included though I confirmed with delivery specialist before hand. I ended up with the first "direct to me delivery" in the Chicago area - at work in downtown. Because of that they routed it through a different service center. Hopefully i'm on a list somewhere to get it.

My friend just got one in his Model 3 today. He ordered the car in August this year without reservation. Maybe they got a new batch in and giving them out to everyone!

I picked up my M3 yesterday in NJ and got the scale model. Not a day 1 reservation but previous owner. I don’t think there is any criteria. If they have it in stock, they will give it to you.

The cars are cute, but it's a $10 item. If you want one you can get it on EBay for roughly $60 from some other owner.

I'm kind of a sucker for little scale models of the cars i own... I made reservation on first day. Are they still giving these out at time of delivery?

If not, I'll probably ante up on eBay or something.

The engineers and management team came down to SoCal to help with our delivery and they bought all kind of goodies with them. I was told that Costa Mesa delivery center got all their charging stations upgraded because the guy in charge of all the superchargers in the world is down here this week.

Ya I got a red one too. They said they are all red. Think I'll take mine to paint shop and have it done in Metallic Silver!

I'm not a reservation holder, but there was a model tucked down inside my center console.

I had to drive from the delivery location over to the sales center and ask for it, but I got one this past Sunday... (they didn't actually even ask for proof I just took delivery- I just said "Hey the delivery guy told me to come ask for one" an d they went in the back and got me one.

Looks like folks are paying north of $100 for em on Ebay for some reason.
