The article mentions 117 "chargers". Not 117 "banks of chargers"...

I hope some of these "chargers" at least on the busier routes are not just single stall chargers again. But even if so, it's a nice start to be filling in the gaps.

Yes - they are 117 sites, with a minimum of 4 plugs at each site (might be 3 CCS / 1 Chademo).

Notice they are listed as 80 kW per unit, as opposed to 180 kW at Katherine. Maybe a temporary power supply related issue?

I was just opening it to check which sites were visible - last I checked, Katherine and Alice Springs were on it, but the off-grid sites (Erldunda and Nullarbor) were not.

Notes on that second image suggest two ABB TERRA-184 units, each 150-180 kW. 3 CCS2 / 1 Chademo.

Interesting but this video needed a lot more editing . No need to hear the blow-by-blow on the power ramp up when we can see the numbers on the screen!

To provide 70 kW, you’d need about 175 solar panels operating at full power - hard to tell how many panels on the canopy.

Ha! I shoulda looked at the drone video thumbnail - there are 100 panels on the canopy. So it must draw on the battery to do any charging above about 40 kW.
