Flaps were only on front and not rear. May want to keep and put on rears. I am considering doing this as wellCongrats! So... I just bought the mud flaps on tesla.com. Should I return them?
What documents are needed when you go to pick up? Is there any interaction with the SA? I know you said your SA sat with you but wasn't sure if you requested that. Hoping my EDD gets pushed back soon! Also, did you have to request for mudflaps and PPF?I picked up car today. I would say 98% condition, just slight gap, little scratch near glove box, but not an issue in my opinion. Drives awesome, wheel alignment seems normal, exterior looks good. I’m happy. Only surprise is I can hear batteries or something after car shut off. My home is in a very quiet neighborhood, so I didn’t notice at store. I had a great delivery experience. Sat in car with SA, showed me useful tips, paired phone and fobs to car. I had checklist but didn’t use it, I just looked around, tested stuff. Oh yeah USB and wireless charging works. Have mud flaps and rear door PPF preinstalled. Meet Nova White. I look forward too everyone waiting to get theirs too.
PPF and mud flaps were already installed. I brought driver license, checkbook, and insurance card (for current car). All I used were phone and check. Car was in front near building, I think that’s where they charge and customer pickup. SA had me sign some papers, then I used phone to review agreements, then he asked to go to car and pair phone key with car. Then he showed me some stuff, paired phone with car for music, and added key fobs to car. He was so cool, friendly, and helpful. He’s helped me since test drive to delivery. The Chesterfield location has been a great experience. I think you’ll be fine. Just chill, don’t be anxious and it’ll be fine. You’ll get updates through text and email. What documents are needed when you go to pick up? Is there any interaction with the SA? If you still do not have a VIN, you sure will be pushed back. And when they deliver a car (with no pickup) - can they just drop it off to my driveway if I’m traveling and I will unlock once I’m back?
Upd - my edd Dec 12-31 so prob will miss it
yep, standard. Doesn’t really mean anything only if you do want to trade in with them. Otherwise, just ignore.Got an text message from Tesla about to trade in my current car but I haven't told them to trade in.... is this email standard for everyone?
I still don't have a VIN assigned but I assume they will assign it closer to the mid of the period? If you still do not have a VIN, you sure will be pushed back.
what is tesla vision? and when do i do that?It didn't show up for me until after the vision acceptance request.
You get that when youre about to get a VIN. You have to accept that your tesla is "vision only" and has no radar. Once you accept, you get a VIN assigned to you.what is tesla vision? and when do i do that?
Ah ok. Thanks! I am still waitingYou get that when youre about to get a VIN. You have to accept that your tesla is "vision only" and has no radar. Once you accept, you get a VIN assigned to you.
Don't want to say this, but you will be pushed back in a day or two.I still don't have a VIN assigned but I assume they will assign it closer to the mid of the period?
While crazier things have happened, it is very very likely you will not be receiving a car this year. However my crystal ball is as clear as everyone else's on here, so who knows.I still don't have a VIN assigned but I assume they will assign it closer to the mid of the period?
Wouldn't say its totally impossible since youre in Seattle, but from VIN to delivery is usually a week or 1.5 weeks so if you dont get it by mid week next week, you most likely wont get the car. Whats your EDD?I still don't have a VIN assigned but I assume they will assign it closer to the mid of the period?
Wow, who did you call? Would love to get some information like that haha. Let us know if you actually get a VIN on 12/13. That would be awesome!Check this post out. I wrote this on August 30th regarding an interaction I had over the phone with a Tesla rep. Wonder if this will hold true.
