Yes, I requested change to Chatswood when I received EDD update to March 8-March 31. Would this be material?

Went from Feb-May to March 8-March 31 to March 26-March 31 to March 25-April 15.
I’ve had this same issue happen. Although I changed nothing. Tesla automatically changed my delivery location to Chatswood from Alexandria a few weeks back. My delivery window went from March 28-31 to March 25-April 15. I’m going to call later today to find out what’s going on

Didn't you change your order recently on the 1st of March from MYP to RWD?
No. It's the other way round. Changed from RWD to MYP when I saw that Tesla had them in inventory.

Have a read of this: Total ship show: Quarantine crisis deepens, 60,000 new cars stuck at sea and ports

"Stevedores who specialise in car transport told Drive it normally takes 24 hours – working around the clock – to unload a vessel carrying 3000 new cars, disembarking approximately 125 new cars per hour.
However, quarantine cleaning teams can only process vehicles at a rate of nine cars per hour – during normal business hours – as the vehicles need to be thoroughly checked and cleaned.
At this rate, each quarantine cleaning team can only process about 350 new cars per week; Australians buy new motor vehicles at a rate of 21,000 cars per week."

I also saw a news crews cover this story on TV last week. The pace looked very slow where they showed one car being driven into an automatic car wash at the port (not a line of cars).

And it looks like the backlog is getting worse....

Neil Mitchell from 3YB FM is covering it this morning. 17,000 vehicles stuck at Melbourne port. Average processing time is 6-8 weeks with vehicles stuck over than 180 days now.

I have the same EDD and I suspect that the range is so wide for Chatswood because they have limited holding space compared to Alexandria and Miranda so they can only do so many deliveries per day vs the other two.

I think Alexandria and Miranda will have many more delivery slots per day and will chew through their allotments

That story was from two months ago. I was hoping that things had sped up in the interim. I selfishly certainly hope that it's faster in NSW.
