AutoPilot cutting out on rural overpass

Slightly different problem here (I think). For clarity, I'm assuming that "autopilot" is the feature that came with my Model Y, that keeps the vehicle centered in the lane (between the lines). I have been getting more an more comfortable with that as I took road trips. It has worked very well, but I ran into a new issue yesterday. While driving on a 2-Lane country road, I drove over an overpass and the car suddenly dinged, slowed down radically and tried to lurch to the right. I realized that although the tarmac road had nice lines and contrast, the overpass was all concrete and had no lines painted on it at all.

This seemed a little stupid to me...The overpass was maybe 2 car lengths long, and the lines picked up right on the other side of it. Shouldn't the algorithm have some sort of delay, or shouldn't the cameras be able to see far enough ahead to avoid this problem?
