Autopilot now displays other lanes?

Just noticed this today, haven't seen anything mentioning it. Sorry if it's a repost.

EDIT:
It doesn't seem to pop up all the time, and if so I've never seen any cars show up in adjacent lanes.

Yes, been that way for a few FW updates, but i do think since 10.4 it’s much better at NOT displaying the alternate lanes if it won’t allow you to merge into them. Since 10.4 solid lines means that the lane won’t be displayed, because AP won’t let you hit the turn signal and automatically merge into it.

FWIW - I have AP1 and it has been around for quite some time with mine; but agree with @Seattle Tom the other lanes show up only where AP will allow you to use auto lane change. Even on Interstates they show as solid lines until you hit the turn signal, then they change to dotted if lane changing is recognized/accepted.
