Back air vents uncovered on MYP

Ordered a set of these

What if something goes inside the air vents? I’ve just looked at my BMW and they are covered air vents.

This can’t come soon enough, read somewhere someone had something go into the air event and had to go to service centre.

Only noticed today because I was doing the hoover and the space is quite large!

I had something go in there, it rolled around under the floor for about a week until it finally lodged somewhere. Very bad design.

Did you fit the air vents protection above? Any issues since? I wonder if all cars have them uncovered?

I’m in year 3 of having a Tesla, on my 2nd vehicle and have never lost anything down there with no protection on them if it’s any reassurance. It’s just a duct, nothing mechanical for anything to get stuck in if it does get down there.

I haven’t either, but I also don’t have any kids and I suspect that is very material to whether you suffer this problem or not.

yeh they are the ones I ordered. Funny they are arriving tomorrow but if I order now they’ll be here at 10pm. Cancel and re ordered!

They've arrived and fit fantastically. I think they may came off with the heat, so I have duck'ed them down.
