Blocking noise from trunk

Trying to see if anybody has a solution to put a sound barrier block on top of the trunk foldable cover that comes with the model Y, I’d like to insulate the sound inside the car

Following. It’s like a drum in the trunk. I applied noise reduction kit for door and glass roof which helped with noise slightly but not a huge improvement. Dampening sound from the trunk will help. Just not sure what material is best.

The bass sound from the trunk/hatch can be mostly resolved by adjusting the bump stops (there are four of them) on the hatch.

The best thing that helped the "booming" of the trunk was using 5/16" vinyl tubing through the rubber around the hatch.

A $7 solution had the most impact in my situation.

I put sound deadening material over the rear wheel area under the trunk lining. will report back after decibel measurements

Fabricate actual sound deadening barrier separating the cabin and the cargo area. It has to be air tight sealed all the way around. It will cost a lot of money and time and will look very ugly, but will get the job done.
