Broken internet connection for some web pages

I have salvage Tesla S model (2015). Repaired and working fine (I really enjoy this car) ... however have problem with internet connection.
It was since beginning - some web pages or internet radio stations does not work. Not sure why and what is wrong, but some are opening (like google.com), some are partially loading (like ebay.com, cnn.com), and some are not opening at all. Even more- web browswer is displaying message that there is no such page. Like I would put wrong address, what is not a case (links provided by google.com are giving me same result - web page not found).

It does not metter whether I am using WiFi spot, LTE module - result is exactly same. So it does not looks like related to internet connection itself, but something like DSL.

I tried by myself changing APN matching my internet provider (T-mobile, as I replaced it from original SIM card and also changed LTE module) using monitor settings - still nothing.
I found my Tesla certificates expired back in 2018 - this would explain to me why I can not connect to mothership, but still do not get why I can not open certain webpages or play some radio stations.
Note, that google maps are also loading fine (although due to having US spec. car in EU, navigation does not work).

I am still running 8.1.

Has anybody experience same? Have anybody found solution for this?
 
So I did some further check and found that it is not only problem with browser, but also - now confirmed - problem with entire system, which is not connecting with teslamotors.com while checking firmware update (cid-updater, watch):

  1. cid-updater: 6813: get_connected_tcp_client (firmware.vn.teslamotors.com, 4567): Unable to resolve hostname.
  2. cid-updater:22308: request_HTTP status=failure activity=download reason=connect_failed
  3. cid-updater....
  4. cid-updater: 2701: retry_failed_handshake:
And sequence is repeating.
Again, above is not related with GSM/LTE/WiFi as symptoms are exactly same for all connections.

Any idea? Anyone?

Tesla dropped support for connecting to Tesla backend services with older firmware versions back on May 1st. You have to have 2019.40.2.3, or newer, to use Tesla services. The only way to upgrade is to take it to Tesla, good luck with a salvage car, or to install the update over a cable. (Likely by hacking the car.)

Yeah, it looks like my software is too old to run. I have to update.

However, problem with internet connection (not browser problem although this is most visible symptom, but lack of internet connection for certain sites and lack of connection with Tesla servers) was found much earlier - before May 2020. Today connection with Tesla servers might have dual problem: my original internet connection problem + since May, 1st, Tesla decision of not supporting OTA for legacy software.

I tried to resolve it remotely with Tesla - working with some IT specialist on their side - but ultimately they give up and send me to Service Center (despite, or maybe because of salvage title).
Anyway, I resigned from appointment at SC as they warn me that it will result in disabling my DC charging options.

Looks like indeed I have three options:
- keep version I currently have (no internet, no music, no maps...but car is working fine)
- go to SC and let them update my car -> risk is that they indeed will disable my DC charging
- install update manually by someone (myself?) and keeping Tesla away from my car

Each has prons and cons - I have to decide, but hoped to find a root cause which will help me to better understand my car and be able to controll this behaviour...(not having internet connection wih Tesla might be sometimes good for me ;-) )
