Buggy Text Message Feature

I’ve had this happen two times already where Text Messaging notifications stop working. The only fix was to re-pair the phone via Bluetooth. Anyone else have his issue?

I don’t have the issue as I don’t have the feature, but I for one am super shocked that the first release of new functionality from Tesla doesn’t work reliably.

Yes, I've got 40.50.1 on a 2020 Long Range and messaging stopped displaying. I went into the Bluetooth settings this morning and noticed that Messaging sync was off somehow. I've re-enabled that and will see if the messages start working again.

I don’t believe that fixed it for me and I had to re/pair the entire phone. I have an iPhone 11 Pro.

I gave up on it. Waiting for the bug fix.
