My MX has the exact moisture issue. I ignore it but not sure if I should? Are there any downsides to not having this moisture in tail lights checked by the SC or ranger?

Over a very (very) long time, it could possibly create haziness of the light housing. Imagine a dual/triple/quad pane home window that had a broken seal for a long time.

I think the issue is zero QA/QC at the factory coupled with probably poorly trained and overworked factory staff. If there is one thing Elon needs to fix, it is the QA/QC at the factory. All the software issues are easier to fix with time.

I laughed inside when the Tesla factory tour guide stopped in front of the QC area to emphasize how much effort into QC is put in before cars go out. I really think that’s just for show. No way any of these cars mentioned with defects can truly pass legitimate factory and local store QC checks.
