CA HOV Stickers when car registered to a Trust?

Wondering if anyone has run into this and if it will be an issue:

We bought our Model 3 and registered it in our Trust. Has anyone done this and run into any issues when applying for their HOV stickers? The applications asks for DL number along with current registered owner.

I'm trying to call DMV on this, but as you know...they never pick up the phone.

For what it's worth, it wasn't a problem when I got my stickers back in 2014. The car is registered to a family trust of which I am a trustee, residing at the same address. I provided my own CA DL number.
