CA HOV Stickers

Doubt that will ever happen. If California was willing to accept a symbol on an electronic license plate they'd probably also accept a sticker on a regular plate. But they don't. They insist on four giant ugly stickers.

And Prop 47 so their nice Tesla’s get smashed with no repurcussions.

I bought a sheet of Xpel, laid it on top and then stick it on the car. You can even peel it off and reapply it to another car one time, it still can stick

Another data point:
- Picked up Model 3 on 11/9/18.
- Mailed Reg 1000 form 12/14/18 (w/ VIN only).
- Check was cashed 1/17/19.
- Received CAV decals 1/25/19 ... light purple.

Whoever designed these stickers must really hate EVs.......to make them stick out so bad.

Among all the Tesla colors, they're terrible but white will be the least impacted by the white border.

Horrific Match:
Black / OBS
Gray / Silver
Red

Terrible Match:
Blue - kinda matches purple but still terrible

Bad Match:
White - giant outlines edges will match existing paint more

Clean Air Vehicle Decals - High Occupancy Vehicle Lane Usage

Large Decals-
Place on the rear quarter panels, one on each side of the vehicle, behind the wheel wells, with the state seal pointed up on the bottom of the decal.
CAV decal location vehicle sidepanels
Small Decals-
For white decals, place on the right side of the rear bumper only, with the state seal pointed up on the bottom of the decal.
For green and red decals, place on the right side of each bumper, front and rear, with the state seal pointed up on the bottom of the decal.

Except the DMV picture appears to have the large decal on the rear bumper behind the wheel wells, not the quarter panels.
