It seems hard to believe, but they’d basically have to send close to 2000 cars per delivery center. Although at times I feel pessimistic, too, I think it’s possible.
FWIW, my SA finally responded to my text message inquiring about the removal of the estimated delivery time from my account. His response was that he has no specific delivery timeframe, he did say I was on track to get my car this month. I don't quite understand the strategy here, but delivering hundreds of cars a day at each location sounds like a recipe for chaos.
I have to commend you guys in this thread. Its not what I thought it would be when it was started. Its really funny and entertaining. I am rooting for all of you guys to get your cars, and looking forward to your excitement when you finally get them.

Much appreciated. It's the humor that helps us keep our sanity.
I dont know if this helps, or hurts, but I have had my model 3P just over a year now, coming from being a "only BMW" household for both me and my wife. First non BMW in my house in close to 15 years. Anyway, I have had the car for a year now, and still grin like a school kid when I go out and drive it... and like I said its been a year and 17k miles so far for me and I still feel like that.

It’s organized and been doing it this way for many quarters now. BTW this guy made this post on Thursday and no one commented on it. I suspect it could be very accurate. Saw some Oct orders being delivered in Calif. Talk to 3 different delivery specialists in the bay area...here is what they said
The DC will be fully staffed and some locations will have volunteer Owners there to answer questions you may have. They are hoping new owners will attend the Owner Workshops and get questions answered ahead of time and get an idea of what to expect at delivery.
I picked up my car from the DC in Fremont. The weeks before end of quarter are super busy and was not uncommon when I bought to do over hundred deliveries a day. The staff has long days, and recall some days going very late into the night back then. Some employees would fly in from other locations to help out, sometimes delivering cars in person to the house if close Bay area location. Don’t know if they are doing that now. Organized, busy and professional. They really go all out to get Calif their cars in these last few weeks.
Enjoyed the humor in this thread too. Still recall the excitement, anticipation and nervousness of delivery, but nothing compares to the fun in driving your car from that point on.

Checked in account and found VIN number and delivery appointment time 12/17.
Page is weird that it shows page as if I'm at the first step of placing an order.
The next step page where upload insurance is not there and only a page for Financing option.
Anybody ran into that when they have a VIN on page but page show:

Congrats! I've seen this same thing on a few more threads! It actually goes backwards, but this happens right before or right after getting a VIN for a lot of people.

I has the same thing happen to me - got VIN in source yesterday after my SA told me one was assigned, then my whole page went back to the beginning saying credit application pending after it had been approved over a week ago - I emailed my SA and he said he would fix it, but the VIN had also disappeared from source!
Today I used the "Tesla.com/schedule/RNXXXX" trick and it gave me a scheduler, which I went ahead and did for first available (Thursday 12/19) - after that happened, my VIN showed up actually on my page (same one that was in source yesterday and then disappeared) - finally tonight the original loan terms showed up again in payment and I just had to accept again and now it's back to where it was, only with a VIN and scheduled delivery date!

I'm hoping that some cars will come to the Burbank center soooon. Today my estimated delivery date was changed from 8 to 10 weeks to 5 to 7 weeks which is funny since I ordered on October 23, which is 71/2 weeks ago... Perhaps soon I will get some information like a VIN perhaps?
